Detailed instructions for registering and formating posters submitted to Performance 2013
Poster abstract submission
Poster abstracts should be submitted in form of a two-page extended abstract (PDF), 10pt, single-spaced, double column, standard margines. Please note that we do not require authors to use a specific LaTeX template for their paper submissions (yet, e.g., the ACM proceedings style may be followed). Submissions must be made electronically by uloading a single PDF file via EasyChair (closed).
Review process and Book of abstracts
All poster abstracts will be reviewed by at least two experts (different to paper submissions, a single-blind reviewing process is used). Posters will be selected based on their originality and novelty, relevance, and technical standards. The selected poster abstracts will be presented in a Book of Abstracts made available via the University of Vienna's publication service u:scholar.
Detailed instructions for registering and formating papers submitted to Performance 2013 (closed)
Papers are to be registered at the Performance 2013 submission site by 10pm CEST, 3 April 2013. The full paper must be submitted through the same webpage at any time up to 10pm CEST, 10 April 2013.
At the time of registration, the following information must be supplied for each paper through the web page:
- Author List (name, email, affiliation);
- Contact (name, email);
- Abstract (200 words or less);
- Topics (selected from list);
- TPC Conflicts (selected from list). Reasons for conflict include: past advisors and students, people with the same affiliation, and any recent (~2 years) coauthors and collaborators.
By using buttons on the paper submission page, the following three cases can be indicated as appropriate:
- Short Paper: see formatting instructions below
- Student Paper: The primary author(s) are full-time students at the time of submission. The paper can be considered for the best student paper award.
- TPC-authored paper: one or more authors of the paper is a member of the Performance 2013 TPC
Submissions will be reviewed using a double-blind review process. The identity of authors and referees will not be revealed to each other. To ensure blind reviewing, authors names and affiliations should not appear in the paper; bibliographic references should be made in such a way as to preserve author anonymity.
All papers must be submitted as a single pdf file not to exceed 5MB in size. Letter or A4 page size is acceptable. Standard margins are required: for letter size papers use margins of at least 1 inch; for A4 size papers use margins of at least 22mm. Please note that we do not require authors to use a specific LaTeX template for their paper submissions.
Must not exceed 22 single-column double-spaced pages including figures, tables and references. The font size of the main body of the text must be at least 10pt. Additional details may be included in a clearly marked appendix of up to 8 pages, which, however, will be read at the discretion of the TPC.
Must not exceed 3 double-column single-spaced pages including figures, tables and references. The font size of the main body of the text must be at least 10pt. Short papers must be indicated using the Short Paper button on the registration page.
Paper pages must be numbered.
List the submission number (generated when the paper is registered) and the number of pages in your paper in the author block, e.g., "Paper #N, 22 pages", beneath your title. Remember to remove author names.
Papers that do not conform to the above requirements may not be reviewed
